Cairo has helped with the whole process of the Towering to Our Future project. He was tireless in helping me throughout the years! Cairo loved hunting and being outside as a teen and he played sports as a kid but ended up running cross-country in High School. He graduated from New Prague High School in 2017 with the prestigious Jon Philips Sousa award from the director Brian Thorstad, of the New Prague Band and was accepted to play in the All-State Band at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, in 2017.
Cairo graduated with honors from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota in Biology. During Covid Cairo took a gap year off of college to work for Americore at Habitat for Humanity in NC. During his stay in NC, he built 12 houses during covid, studied for his MCAT, and got his EMT Licence. Now he is working at Fairview Hospital, downtown Minneapolis in the ER as an EMT and working on his Medical School Applications process. What a blessing it is to know what you want to do and forge a path to achieve it! Go Cairo!
