Robert "Bud" and Stella Javurek

Robert “Bud” Javurek’s family owned and operated the Phillips 66 gas station in New Prague. Bud was in the Army Corps of engineers during World War II. He worked on designing and fitting pipe (note the frame on his plaque). Bud was also a mason and worked on St. Wenceslaus Church. Bud’s wife Stella enjoyed making the sea shell imprints for Bud’s gas station on his plaque.
