Helen Kuzelka

Helen was a nurse and worked with local historic Dr. Novak. They both worked at the Queen of Peace Hospital and she admired him. Dr. Novak moved to New Prague in 1895 to begin a family practice. He delivered over 7,000 babies and worked on vaccination for Tuberculosis in cattle, so people would not get infected. So you can see why she admired him and wanted a bust of him on her plaque. Helen had four children who were very important to her along with being a lifetime member of the St. Wenceslaus church. Helen Passed on 8/5/2015.
